Every summer needs a carefree bop that you can ride around with on a sunny day. Brooklyn‘s own Kevin Holliday may have just provided that for this summer. The New York native’s latest single, “Regrets,” has a funky rhythm that is coupled with airy atmospheric synths. To top it all off, his laid-back voice fits perfectly over the production.
“See Me/Walk on over/Mamma losing focus/A** on semi-automatic/Boy that’s tragic/Ain’t new nothing new/One more year-round we go/I can’t keep fucking up/Baby just show me love,” he sings.
“Ooh you take me higher/I dont wanna have no regrets/Wake up next to me/Your loves infesting me/Your like a com?t/Coming down you fuck up my world/I’m glad you got it/Don’t want no drama.”
“Regrets” is the latest addition to his upcoming project OMNI. If the rest of the project sounds like this single, Kevin Holliday will be on more than a few summer road trip and kickback playlists. Check out the record and video below.
