Joyner Lucas is no stranger to highlighting major movie stars in his music. Last year, he made noise with the release of his “Will” music video paying homage to Will Smith. This year, he started off his new “Zim Zimma” video by riding shotgun with Mark Wahlberg.
At the start of the video, Wahlberg and Lucas are riding through the city as Joyner Lucas raps the first verse to his new single. Unfortunately, their joy ride breaks down when Wahlberg crashes the car. With nowhere left to go, he turns to “uncle” George Lopez and the two drive the car to a party where they meet Diddy.
“Zim Zimma” is the latest single from Joyner Lucas. Just a few weeks ago, he rolled out the “Ramen & OJ” video with Lil’ Baby. It earned immediate success and shot up to #67 on the Billboard Hot 100. Over the last year, the Massachusetts native has released videos for “Like A River” with Elijah James and “Fall Slowly” featuring Ashanti. Seven months after the release after Evolution, he’s managed to continue to pull content from his latest work. Check out the “Zim Zimma” video below.
