The Detroit Lions are signing Wide Receiver Josh Reynolds to a two-year, $12 million contract extension, according to Mike Garafolo from NFL Network and Apex Sports Group.
It’s a two-year deal for WR Josh Reynolds with a max value of $12 million, source says. Reynolds played well down the stretch for the #Lions, who liked his leadership and his relationship with Jared Goff. Detroit wanted this done before free agency. The sides got there. https://t.co/7twJGCI313

Reynolds was drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams but he couldn’t earn a second contact with the team. In the 2021 offseason, he signed a one-year deal with Tennessee Titans.
He played just five games before being waived and a couple of weeks later the Lions claimed him to finish the season. In Detroit, he caught 19 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns in seven games.
Currently, the Lions keep building the team after the Stafford era. Now, with Jared Goff and young weapons in Jamaal Williams, D’Andre Swift, Amon-Ra St. Brown the team looks to improve the roster and their 3-13-1 record.
