After returning for his junior season Jordan Nwora has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft. Nwora entered the year as the ACC Preseason Player of the Year and was ultimately tabbed as an All-American. Nwora tested the process last season but chose to return after a knee injury limited him during the process last year.
Nwora put up a nearly identical stat line to last year while shooting better percentages from three and the free-throw line which upped his scoring average one point. He had another fantastic year on the offensive end while continuing to show he’s not an exactly strong defender. Something that has him near the end of our NBA draft expert, Gabe Esquivel’s first round in his most recent mock draft.

Nwora is a guy ready to contribute offensively at the next level. He will likely be a role player on a playoff team based off where most expect him drafted. If the situation is right he has a chance to be a strong contributor offensively off the bench early in his career with the opportunity to grow into a starter. His ability to shoot the ball, evidenced by him shooting slightly under 40 percent from three should translate to the next level.
