Entertainment 360 has reportedly cut ties with actor Jonathan Majors. Prior to Entertainment 360’s decision to cut ties with the Creed III star, public relations firm The Lede Company also decided to distance itself from Majors. However, Entertainment 360 nor The Lede Company have issued a statement regarding their decisions to cut ties with the Texas native.
Majors was at the center of domestic violence arrest on March 25, 2023. The actor was reportedly taken into custody after a dispute with a 30-year-old woman occurred at a New York apartment. At the time of the arrest, authorities say the 30-year-old woman suffered “minor injuries to her head and neck.” The actor was taken into custody and released hours later. He is expected to appear in court on May 8, 2023 as he faces multiple counts of harassment and assault.
“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, stated.
“We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
Days after news of Majors’ arrest became public, his attorneys released screenshots of an exchange between him and the 30-year-old woman.
“Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight,” a text message from the woman reads.
“I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this.”
At this time, the 30-year-old woman has not issued a public statement regarding the matter. Furthermore, Disney nor Marvel have indicated that Majors will be pulled from his roles in future films.
