After being drafted with the 36 overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft and playing Summer League with the Philadelphia 76ers, Jonah Bolden will remain in Europe but with a new team, Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Bolden was initially with Crvena Zvezda Red Star Belgrade but Maccabi bought him out for 675,00-euros and signed him, the club announced.

Bolden is Maccabi’s tenth signing of the summer. He is 21-years old, 6-foot-10, and weighs 227-pounds. He spent last season on loan with FMP Beograd in the Adriatic League where he averaged 12.9ppg,7.2rpg, 1spg, 1bpg, and shot 42-percent from three.
Young players usually struggle for playing time with top European teams so it will be interesting to see if Maccabi – who’s struggled in recent years – will give him playing time and take a chance on him.
