The Cleveland Browns will be rewarding their juggernaut upfront with big money. Offensive Lineman Joe Thomas had his contract reworked this week making him the highest paid OL in the NFL in 2018. This was first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates.

The deal gives an extra $3 million with a $1.5 million bonus paid this week and the rest added to his base salary to bring it to $10.3 million. Once all bonuses are factored in Thomas can expect to make just under $14 million in 2018, the highest of any Offensive lineman in the NFL.
Thomas, a 10-time Pro-bowler, was placed on IR earlier this season when a tricep injury ended his amazing streak of 10,363 consecutive snaps to begin a career. Even after the injury Thomas is highly regarded as one of the best OL in the league and has no one questioning the raise.
