In a crop of elite NBA marksmen participating in the 2019 Three-Point Contest, Nets guard Joe Harris stood out with his sharpshooting and took home the hardware. Harris would go on to secure the three-point title over Stephen Curry and Buddy Hield in the final round, scoring 26 points to Hield’s 19 and Curry’s 24.

Those three were joined by some elite company with Devin Booker, Kemba Walker, Khris Middleton, Danny Green, Damian Lillard, Dirk Nowitzki and Seth Curry all also participating in the second contest of NBA All-Star Saturday Night.
Always one of the premier events during the NBA’s most glamorous weekend, fans were not shortchanged in this star-studded event. The pool was a rather interesting one, with a pair of brothers and an aging legend, but it still made for an entertaining shootout.
The quality shooting was on display right from the start, with Harris starting things off with a score of 25 as the night’s first contestant and Buddy Hield posting 26 himself moments later.

However, it was Stephen Curry who came through and stole the show early, leading all shooters in the first round with a scorching 27 points.

Though Curry managed to post another solid score in the final round, Harris’ stellar shooting from his first display translated seamlessly to the final round as well. Harris has been integral to the Nets’ improvement this season, averaging 13.9 points per game while shooting over 47 percent from three-point range.
