Jim Jones is not letting up in his discussion of Pusha T’s catalog and impact on Hip-Hop culture and Rap music.
This month, Jim Jones was a guest on Spotify’s Rap Caviar podcast. Led by Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins, the episode that the New York artist appeared on focused on Rolling Stone‘s list of the 50 best rappers of all time. Not before long, the Harlem rapper began to question Pusha T being included in the list.
“What has he done that puts him in the greatest rappers of all time besides talk about coke that he probably didn’t get himself?” he asked his counterparts.
“Pusha T don’t hold no weight out here. He not pushing no sh*t out here.”

Jinx, Bootleg Kev and the rest of podcast participants pushed back against his criticism, but the rapper stood firm in his critique of the Virginia native. Two weeks later, Jim Jones was asked about the matter yet again during a conversation with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God of The Breakfast Club. Much like his remarks on Rap Caviar, Jim Jones was critical of Pusha T yet again.
“Could you name five Pusha T records?” he asked Charlamagne Tha God.
“Could you name five Pusha T records? No. Could you rap to five Pusha T records?”
Ultimately, Jim Jones signed off on the conversation by saying that he has love for Pusha T, but would not include him in a list of the top 50 rappers of all-time.
“Shoutout to Pusha T, I love your soul,” Jim Jones said.
“You my dawg. You not in my top 50. You might be in Charlamagne’s top 50 and things like that, but you haven’t done that much for me in my life.”
