Duke Blue Devils junior guard Jeremy Roach has announced that he will return to the program next season for his senior season. The experienced upperclassman has declared for the 2023 NBA Draft but maintained his college eligibility while going through the process. This is a big announcement for the Blue Devils, who are poised to be early favorites to win the title in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Roach will lead the offense for them next season and improve on his fantastic junior season. He will also be hoping to improve his 2024 NBA Draft stock.

This past season as a junior for the Duke Blue Devils, Jeremy Roach averaged 13.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. HE paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 42.6 percent and a three-point percentage of 24.3 percent. Roach was one of the better point guards in the ACC last season and helped keep the team afloat during their rough patch. He was also vital in the team’s run in both the 2023 ACC Tournament and the 2023 NCAA Tournament. While Duke was already considered an early favorite for next season, this could land them in the number-one spot in the fall.
