Kanye West is a lot of things. He’s a Grammy winner, fashion visionary, legendary producer and one of the most endearing personalities in the history of modern American society. At the same time, he’s also a supporter of former President Donald Trump, an egotistical label leader and the guy who once said, “Slavery is a choice.” In short, he’s polarizing. Still, much of the world can’t keep their eyes off of him.
Fresh off of the release of his Grammy-nominated album, Donda, West is preparing to take the next step in his career. West is the center of Netflix’s newest feature documentary, jeen-yuhs. Described as a trilogy, the film event will take a look at West’s life and career ranging from his upbringing in Chicago and days in Newark to his life as a father and billionaire. Along the way, filmmakers coodie and choke will use footage of Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Jay-Z and countless others to add to the story.
jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy will debut days after the Super Bowl winner is crowned. While we wait eagerly for the first edition of the trilogy, check out the first teaser below.
