Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Benito Antonio “Bad Bunny” Martínez Ocasio are set to join LeBron James and Maverick Carter on the set of The Shop. Rounding out the cast, former Nike executive Paul Rivera and WNBA star Nneka Ogwumike will also step in the shop for a cut and conversation
This upcoming episode of The Shop is just the second since the coronavirus took hold of everyday life in mid-March 2020. Their lone episode featured former President Barack Obama. Just weeks before the most recent presidential election, James, Carter and Obama discussed the importance of voting, politics and hoops. Other episodes have featured stars like Nas, Jimmy Kimmel, Patrick Mahomes and Jamie Foxx. Standout moments include Drake’s infamous interview during his feud with Pusha T and one of Chadwick Boseman’s final on-camera appearances in March 2020.
