Head Coach Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans have picked up the commitment of 2022 four-star recruit Jaxon Kohler. The Spartans have been quiet the past few seasons but will look to make some noise in the Big Ten. Landing top 75 recruits like Kohler should help the program regain some footing. He committed to the Michigan State Spartans over other programs that offered him such as the Iowa Hawkeyes, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oklahoma Sooners, and USC Trojans.
Jaxon Kohler, the No. 62 overall prospect in the 2022 class, has committed to Michigan State, he tells @247Sports.

Kohler’s composite rankings have him as the 67th best prospect and as the 11th best power forward in the 2022 recruiting class. Players like this help programs stay stable in today’s “one and done” era. Jaxon Kohler could be a three or four year prospect for the Spartans. He could contribute on day one and stay for multiple years which is perfect for a program like Michigan State.
