Warner Bros. Minecraft film has founded its latest leading man, Jason Momoa. According to Variety, Momoa will star in the evolving project as Jared Hess directs. Mary Parent and Roy Lee have also been tied to the project as producers.
Momoa îs the latest in a long line of actors tied to the film. Previously, Steve Carrell was rumored as a potential lead for the movie. As for the director’s chair, Shawn Levy, Rob McElhenney and Peter Sollett were once considered as directors for the film. Now, Hess and Momoa will attempt to bring the film to the big screen.
Hess is best known for his work on Napoleon Dynamite, but his work extends far beyond one film. He’s also directed episodes of Making History, Son of Zorn and The Last Man on Earth. Not to mention, he’s also directed music videos for The Killers.
Hess’ leading man, Jason Momoa, is best known for his role in the latest Aquaman film. He also appeared in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League and Dune. Moving forward, he’s set to appear in Cliffhanger, Fast & Furious 10 and The Last Manhunt.
