The cast of Knives Out II continues to grow. Reports from The Hollywood Reporter indicate that Janelle Monáe has joined the cast of the highly anticipated sequel. At this time, it is unclear what role she will play in the film.
Monáe is the latest addition to the highly anticipated movie. Daniel Craig is slated to return to the franchise as Benoit Blanc. Also, Edward Norton and Dave Bautista will join the film. However, it is unclear if any of the film’s original cast will come back to the franchise.
These recent casting updates come shortly after Netflix shelled out $450 million to acquire the rights to Knives Out II and Knives Out III. Through this deal, Rian Johnson will grab a $100 million bag and direct both films.
Details regarding the second film remain under wraps. Netflix and the Knives Out producing team will continue to develop the project throughout the year.
