New York City R&B duo JAED has debuted their latest single, “Tell Me” produced by RRAREBEAR. Throughout the song, the duo discusses the heartbreak of dating in today’s climate.
“The song really talks about needing confirmation and people being open with their feelings even if it’s not what you want to hear,” Jazz Sanusi said.
“I think that is so important in this current climate of dating where people ghost each other and are super emotionally insensitive to one another which makes it even more difficult to put yourself out there. We definitely wanted to portray this intimate, vulnerable song that people, especially those our age, could enjoy and relate to,” Eddy Owoeye adds.
This is the first of what will hopefully be a number of collaborations between Jazz and Eddy. The duo formed just four months ago in New York. Shortly thereafter, they put together the song in Harlem.
“This record was super fun to create. We wrote this on Jazz’s bed as she was showing me some songs she recorded and the beat for this track,” Eddy said.

“Jazz was writing something else to it but I was sold on writing something new together that focused on what we had just talked about at dinner,” he added.
Jazz is based in Belgium, while Eddy lives in New York. Despite distance, the two will look to make more music under the JAED moniker in the future. Check out “Tell Me” above.
