Inside the NBA has been a staple for Turner sports NBA broadcasting for over two decades. The crew started taking shape in 2001 when Charles Barkley joined the team and since then, the team has never been better than it is now with the foursome of Barkley, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and the host Ernie Johnson.
The team has won many awards in the past most notably Emmy’s with nine in total, including Ernie winning three as a studio host and Charles Barkley has won two as a studio analyst. Yet despite the awards, accolades and honors, the greatest accomplishment of all might be the announcement they made on Thursday night after the Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Inside the NBA will be getting inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame.

Yes, the Hall of Fame will be host to Shaq, EJ, The Jet, Sir Charles and Underdog. The show that featured ‘Shaqtin’ a Fool’, “Gone Fishin'”, ‘GINOBILI’, ‘JAVALE MCGEE’, ‘Ej’s Neat-o Stat of the Night’, ‘BIRDMAN, BIRDMAN’, ‘Who He Play For?’ and even that run to the board by Kenny Smith will all be the main segments of a Hall of Fame show. Congrats to the guys.
