Hulu has renewed the Golden Globe winning series, Ramy, for a third season. The news comes just a month after the stream service debuted the second season of the award winning show.
Ramy is led by actor and producer Ramy Youssef. Throughout the series, he is caught between his faith and living within the ills of the 21st century. In season two, Youssef finds himself adapting to a new community and building a friendship with Sheikh Ali played by Mahershala Ali.
“We made a very specific show about an Arab Muslim family living in New Jersey and this means a lot to be recognized on this level,” Ramy said at The Golden Globes.
Season two of Ramy is available now on Hulu. Season three is expected to hit the streaming service in 2021.
