Only Murders In The Building is set to continue at Hulu. On Monday, the streaming platform announced that Steve Martin-led comedy announced that the show would return for a third season. Given that the series debuted as the most-watched comedy series in Hulu Originals’ history and is expected to receive multiple Emmy nominations, it is not a surprise that Hulu moved forward with a third season renewal.
“Only Murders in the Building is the true crown jewel of our slate,” said Hulu Originals President Craig Erwich told Deadline.
“Its appeal across generations, the intersection of humor and heart, and its truly original approach are a hallmark of and testament to Dan, John, Steve, Marty and Selena’s work. We are grateful to be able to continue telling the stories of Charles, Oliver and Mabel to viewers that have consistently shown us they crave more of this story.”
Season two Only Murders In The Building debuted in late June and episodes arrive on Hulu each week. The show’s stars, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, are expected to return for the show’s third chapter.
