Hulu has renewed two of its most popular shows, Love, Victor and Taste The Nation, for new seasons. This news comes approximately two months after the shows debuted in June.
“Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness,” Love, Victor star Michael Cimino tweeted about the renewal.
“I have been so touched by your response to this show and all of your support! [I’d like to given] an enormous thank you to my partner Part 2 Pictures and Hulu for believing in our project,” Taste The Nation Host Padma Lakshmi said about news.
Meanwhile, Hulu did cut ties with Zoë Kravitz’s High Fidelity after one season. In a move that surprised many, Kravitz questioned the streaming service’s commitment to diversity.
“It’s cool. At least Hulu has a ton of other shows starring women of color we can watch. Oh wait,” she wrote sarcastically on Instagram.
At this moment, it’s unclear if the show is dead in the water or will move to another platform.
