The Charlotte Hornets have made a big boo boo. They signed a player in Lance Stephenson that had a career year, showed that he can rap and has the ability to drop a triple double any night.
Unfortunately. Lance Stephenson is one of those players that flop once they get the contract. All season he has been average at best when he should be the third wheel in the Walker-Jefferson tandem.
Last year he had 13.8 PPG. This year he has 9 PPG. Last year he averaged 49.1 FG%. Now it’s a lowly 37%. It’s clear that Lance is average. Which is why all season the Charlotte Hornets have been secretly wanting to trade Stephenson. Problem is. Nobody wants him!
So. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Charlotte Hornets have decided to keep Stephenson.
.@WojYahooNBA thinks Lance Stephenson will be still be a Hornet on Friday because they can't find a place to send him… no market for him.

How sad is that? No team will take Lance Stephenson. That is the genuine truth. No sugarcoating. The Charlotte Hornets now know the score. They’re stuck with him. So now they have to deal with it and find a way to get him back to career form. I personally think that Lance can be a great player. His jump shot has always been erratic to say the least. I think he just needs consistency. And that is down to the Hornets giving him room to work. But they can’t exactly afford to experiment since they’re locked in a Playoff hole that currently contains the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets and will eventually have Detroit jumping into the mixing pot.
