Hilary Tisch, a fashion designer and daughter of New York Giants Co-Owner Steve Tisch, has passed away at age 36. Her family confirmed her passing in a statement, citing her battle with depression but not directly confirming a cause of death.
In the statement, Hilary’s father shared the following words:
“Hilary was a kind, caring and beautiful person. Her mother, sisters, brothers and I are devastated by her passing. It leaves a hole in our hearts and our lives. She, like so many others, bravely fought the disease of depression for as long as she could. We love and will miss her dearly. Our family is utterly heartbroken and is mourning its tragic loss. We ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Hilary Tisch was one of the founders of the California-based fashion brand Doen as well as a volunteer with Operation Smile, a non-profit that provides free surgeries to people born with cleft lips and palates.
