The artists who put together “Girl Like Me” are packing the stage at Super Bowl LV. Leading the way, Jazmine Sullivan is teaming up with Eric Church and Adam Blackstone to perform the national anthem. Following behind, H.E.R is performing “America, The Beautiful” at Raymond James Stadium.
H.E.R. has performed on every big stage known to man. From Sway In The Morning to the Grammys, she delivers the same level of creativity and talent at every step. This time around, H.E.R is confident, but she’s also taking in the magnitude of the moment.
“Honestly, I am so excited to just be performing at the Super Bowl,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“It’s a huge stage and it doesn’t get any bigger, you know? But I think the goal, for me, is to make [the song] my own. I’m a huge fan of the different versions of ‘America the Beautiful,’ but I really want to bring some different elements in there… make it H.E.R.”
She certainly took the song and made it hears. Check out H.E.R.’s performance of “America, The Beautiful” below.
