New York’s own, H.E.R, hopped over the river to perform at the 2019 Video Music Awards in Newark, New Jersey. The R&B singer used the stage to deliver an incredible performance of her song, “Anti”.
This performance marks the next step in H.E.R’s run of award show performances. Despite being one of the most promising artists in R&B for some time, she has recently made her debuts at the Grammy Awards and BET Awards. Not to mention, she’s been making the rounds during festival. This summer, she’s held her own festival and performed at The Roots Picnic.

Luckily, H.E.R is not only performing. She’s also nominated for three awards. This year, she’s favorite for “Best New Artist,” “PUSH Artist of the Year” and “Best R&B.”
