
The last few weeks have been extremely busy in the realm of album releases. Not too long ago, Offset, Lil’ Pump, Kehlani and Gunna all dropped new projects on the same day. After a full week of waiting, we finally have their first week sales to review.
Most notably, Atlanta’s Gunna and Offset both earned top five finishes with their debut solo studio albums. Gunna’s Drip or Drown 2 came in at number three by moving 90,000 units during its first week and Offset followed behind at number four with 89,000 units during his first week. Also, Lil’ Pump came in at number seven on the Billboard 200 charts with a solid showing of 48,000 units during his first week. Rounding out the top ten, Kehlani was able to move in with 34,000 units for her EP, While We Wait.
Other notable showings include Lady Gaga’s A Star is Born which earned the top spot with 128,000 units. In addition, Ariana Grande’s thank u, next also moved a strong 116,000 units.
Next week, the first week numbers for Solange, 2 Chainz and Ace Hood will come in. Not to mention, Juice WRLD, Kyle Dion, Kari Faux are all dropping new projects on Friday.
