The Milwaukee Bucks intend to sign former Chicago Bulls point guard Goran Dragic after meeting with the team. Dragic signed with the Chicago Bulls this past offseason but was waived by the team before March 1st. That makes him free to sign with a new team and eligible to play for that team in the 2022-23 NBA Playoffs. Dragic was linked to the Bucks fairly quickly after being waived by the team. The Bucks could use some depth at guard as the push to win the first seed in the Eastern Conference.
Once free agent Goran Dragic completes his meetings in Milwaukee this afternoon, he plans to sign a deal with the Bucks for the rest of the season, sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/SF6OVesO6Y

This season with the Chicago Bulls, Goran Dragic averaged 6.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 42.5 percent and a three-point percentage of 35.2 percent. The Milwaukee Bucks are hoping to return to and win the NBA Finals this year. To do that they will need to beat the Boston Celtics four times in the Eastern Conference at some point in the Playoffs. Dragic will provide some depth in that quest. Milwaukee is currently the one seed in the Eastern Conference Standings with an overall record of 45-17. The Boston Celtics are currently just one game behind them in the race for the top seed in the East.
