Goldlink is gearing up for a new album within the next year. The Maryland native has been relatively quiet and picky with where he appears. Last year, he did a run of exclusive shows in nation’s capital for his biggest fans. In addition, he dropped a new single called “Got Friends” with Miguel and made an appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. Outside of that, Goldlink remained quiet until he made an appearance on the COLORS YouTube channel. During his performance of “Justine’s Interlude“, Goldlink made his voice heard as he seemingly made references towards the abuse of Justine Skye allegedly at the hands of Sheck Wes. Today, he’s back to make his voice heard yet again.
During a recent performance in Los Angeles, Goldlink debuted his most recent single. “Got Muscle“. He also stopped to bring out G.O.O.D Music’s Pusha T to perform “Don’t Like” and “If You Know, You Know”. Towards the end of his show, Goldlink decided to let his fans in on a little secret. Goldlink confirmed that he will in fact be dropping a new album this year. To further the idea that he’d drop new music, Goldlink went on to rap an unreleased verse over Afro B’s “Joanna”.
