The first edition of Germany NFL games featured the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeating the Seattle Seahawks 21 to 16. German fans showed up to pack out the stadium and even sang classic American songs before, during, and after the game. It was a large success in the eyes of NFL officials.
NFL games in London, England have been considered a success for years and the deal to bring Germany American football games will likely be extended past 2025 if all continues to go well. In addition, the expansion to Sapin and France may not be where the league decided to stop. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has even expressed some interest in creating a brand new division with four teams in Europe.
