Her latest single, “Let Me Wander,” is a freedom anthem led by acoustic guitars and soothing drum patterns as Genia puts the complications of a past relationship behind her and enters a journey of emancipation, exploration and stepping into the future she feels she’s destined for.
“I know that I complain a lot, but I still feel like I’m chosen. I walk in with a chip on my shoulder. I still feel like the villain,” she sings.
“You and I had our 15 minutes come to an ending. The more you hold onto the rope, the more I’m bloody and slipping. The more you try to convince me to say, the more I’m like, ‘Oh, let me wander.’ Let me wander.”
Genia’s “Let Me Wander” moves her further along the path toward releasing her highly-anticipated project, 4AM In The Ville. From “The One” to her latest single, Genia has continued to showcase her vocal strengths and incredible storytelling skills, with each song serving as a piece of a biopic that’s still being film. Along the way, she’s showcased her dancing and ability develop career-enhancing visuals.
