In a year filled with great music, a number of R&B acts have continued to push the envelope. Summer Walker, Snoh Alegara and many more have put out incredible projects. Even Frank Ocean put out a new track recently. Continuing the run of great R&B releases, Gallant has released a new album called Sweet Insomnia.
The new project from the R&B up and comer features Sabrina Claudio and 6LACK. It also comes with previously released tracks like “Sharpest Edges” and “Crimes”. Earlier this year, Gallant also dropped a new video for “Sleep On It” with an appearance from Ginuwine.
When asked about the creation of the single, he told Apple Music, “I go through things in my relationship. I’m not perfect. I’m stubborn and sometimes I can be cold.”
He added, “I just wanted to write something that gave people assurance that I’m a human being.”
Following the release of his latest project, Gallant will continue on the Truth Is tour with Sabrina Claudio. The duo will be making stops Fort Lauderdale and Tampa this weekend. In the meantime, check out his latest project, Sweet Insomnia.
