Future is gearing up for his return later this month. Earlier this week, the Atlanta native announced that his ninth studio album will arrive on April 29, 2022. However, he opted not to share the album’s title.
For more than a week, Future has been teasing fans about the release of his new album. On April 5, he suddenly tweeted, “Getting ready to drop.” While many fans were disappointed to learn that he wasn’t dropping the project that evening, he has continued to feed them more information regarding the project. Within the last few days, he’s confirmed that FKA Twigs, Kanye West, Babyface Ray and Wheezy have all worked on the untitled album.
“When the album drop ain’t no being humble,” he tweeted.
Following the album’s scheduled release date, Future is set to appear at Rolling Loud this summer alongside Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, and others. He is also slated to perform at the Woo Hah! Festival in The Netherlands.
