April is shaping up to be one of the best months in music thus far this year. In just a few weeks, Fivio Foreign, Coi Leray and Vince Staples haves dropped new albums. Jack Harlow, Chlöe Bailey and Pusha T have dropped new singles. Not to mention, Future and PJ Morton are among the slate of artists set to release new projects before the end of April. Now, it looks like Kehlani wants to add her music to the month’s soundscape.
Kehlani has announced that her latest album, Blue Water Road, will arrive on April 29, 2022. Building up the album’s release, she shared the project’s track list, which includes contributions from Justin Bieber, Thundercat, Jessie Reyez, Syd, BLXST and Ambre.
Blue Water Road serves as the follow-up to her sophomore album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. The 15-track release included contributions from Jhené Aiko, James Blake, Lucky Daye and Masego. Billboard, Esquire and Stereogum all listed it as one of the 50 best albums of 2020. It Las debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 Chart.
