It is hard to name three people who have put out better music than Freddie Gibbs, Hit-Boy and Big Sean. Freddie Gibbs has hopped on Benny The Butcher’s Burden of Proof, Westside Gunn’s Pray For Paris and Problem’s Coffee & Kush Vol. 2 all while dropping his own project, Alfredo. Big Sean has made his presence felt through his latest studio album, Detroit II. Most notably, Hit-Boy has produced some of the year’s biggest tracks and albums like King’s Disease and Detroit II. Now, the trio is joining forces to drop a new track.
Freddie Gibbs has teased “4 Thangs” for some time now and it is finally here. Backed by Hit-Boy production, the record highlights the duo’s lyrical ability.
“She keep calling me babe, I said ‘That’s not my name’/Million dollars, million followers, ho, that’s not the same/And I just washed off the chicken, baby, that’s not cocaine/Sh*t’s so hot, you got two hundred, you can get like four thangs,” Freddie Gibbs and Big Sean rap on the hook.
