Usher is the focus of the next installment of Audible’s Words + Music series. Titled The Last Showman, the three-act audio series will take “an introspective look into the 30-year career of [the] global R&B icon.” Additionally, listeners will enjoy “all-new performances and gain exclusive access to USHER’s thoughts on [his] iconic tracks” throughout the years.
“With the recent 20th anniversary of Confessions, creating The Last Showman has been an incredible opportunity to reflect on the most pivotal moments of my career with fresh eyes and deep appreciation,” Usher said.
“This project isn’t just about telling my story; it’s about sharing the raw, unfiltered truth behind the music that’s connected with generations of listeners, as well as the power of vulnerability in art.”
Usher is the latest legend to be a part of Words + Music, joining Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, John Legend, Common and Brandy among others. Usher’s The Last Showman will debut Thursday, February 6 on Audible, days before fans celebrate the one-year anniversary of his performance during Super Bowl LVIII.
