The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has shared the rules and regulations for the upcoming boxing exhibition between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul. The highly-anticipated bout will include eight, two-minute rounds. However, none of the rounds will be scored by official judges. With that said, knockouts will be allowed. Any and all stoppages will be at the referee’s discretion. In addition, the two fighters have agreed to use 10-ounce gloves instead of 12-ounce gloves.
These rules are not too dissimilar from the rules and regulations put in place for other high-profile celebrity matchups. In 2017, Conor McGregor and Mayweather Jr. agreed to fight with 10-ounce gloves instead of the standard 12-ounce boxing gloves. More recently, Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. agreed to fight without official judges, but organizers did put together a crew of unofficial judges who scored the bout a draw.
All of these rules and regulations will be enforced on Sunday, June 6 as the two fighters enter the ring at Hard Rock Stadium. Oddsmakers currently list Mayweather as a +600 favorite to win by knockout, technical knockout or disqualification.
