Fetty Wap reportedly faces a new lawsuit after a woman claims he violently attacked her during a house party.
The New Jersey rapper allegedly choked a woman and threatened to kill her. According to The Blast, in June 2019, Fetty Wap invited the woman over for a house party where the incident took place. Documents obtained by The Blast claim the rapper “violently grabbed Plaintiff by her throat and strangled her. While still choking her, (Fetty) forcefully pushed Plaintiff against a window and threatened Plaintiff by saying “I’ll kill you.”
The unidentified woman claims to suffer from “extreme distress, humiliation, indignation, and outrage as a result of Fetty Wap’s intoxicated and violent conduct.”
Fetty Wap allegedly tore the woman’s clothes, grabbing her by the arm, neck, and hair. The Los Angeles District Attorney reportedly declined to press charges citing insufficient evidence.
On Valentine’s Day 2020, the “Trap Queen” rapper released the project Trap & B. Another lawsuit against Fetty Wap surfaced in May 2019 when a former associate sued the rapper for defamation.
