NBA Picks 1/28/22
We are on fire this week. We had another perfect night after the 76ers took care of business against the Lakers and the Warriors held off a motivated Timberwolves team. We have an 11 game slate with plenty of opportunities. Let’s dig in and try to identify where the value is for the NBA Picks 1/28/22.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Phoenix Suns (-9) 9:00 EST
With DeAndre Ayton still out, Karl Anthony-Towns should feast against the Phoenix front line. The Suns will also be without Jae Crowder, Cameron Payne, and JaVale Mcgee. On the other hand, the Timberwolves are dealing with injuries of their own after D’Angelo Russell suffered an injury in last night’s game. Ultimately, I think a nine-point spread is too high. Expect the Timberwolves to keep it close until Chris Paul and Devin Booker close them out in crunch time.
Pick: Timberwolves +9 (-110 via DraftKings)

Utah Jazz at Memphis Grizzlies (-4) 8:00 p.m EST
Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert are still out for the Jazz. The Grizzlies enter tonight’s game at full strength. Advantage Grizzlies.
Pick: Grizzlies -4 (-110 via DraftKings)

Denver Nuggets at New Orleans Pelicans (+4) 8:00 p.m EST
Nikola Jokic is playing like a man possessed. This supporting cast has played well in recent games and the team’s offense is clicking once again. Without Brandon Ingram, this Pelican team doesn’t have enough firepower to keep up with the Nuggets. This one could be over quickly.
