
Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith will write the script for the upcoming film, Rainbow Six.
Fajemisin-Duncan and Smith are best known for writing the popular British crime drama series, Run. Starring Olivia Coleman, the mini-series earned the Royal Television Society Award for best drama writing and the BAFTA Television Craft award for breakthrough talent.
Smith and Fajemisin-Duncan also worked on Save Me and Save Me Too. Similarly, the series won RTS Awards for outstanding drama and best drama writing. Also, they also earned a BAFTA nomination for best drama series.
The duo’s upcoming project will serve as the follow-up to the 2021 action-thriller, Without Remorse. Starring Michael B. Jordan, the film follows the story of U.S. Navy SEAL John Kelly as he seeks answers after his pregnant wife is killed in their home.
The sequel, Rainbow Six, will feature Jordan as the lead actor and producer. Elizabeth Raposo of Outlier Society, Akiva Goldsman and Greg Lessans of Weed Road Pictures and Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec of The Saw Mill will also produce the film. Chad Stahelski will step in as the director.
