It may be hard to believe, but the NBA is back yet again after crowning a champion this summer. Just a few weeks after the NBA Draft, ESPN is set to air the first round of NBA games later this month.
The worldwide leader in sports will televise the beginning of the league’s preseason with a broadcast of the Sacramento Kings and Portland Trailblazers on December 11. The west coast showdown will be followed up with a Los Angeles showdown between the Lakers and Clippers on December 13. Four days later, ESPN will televise the return of two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry as the Warriors take on the Kings. Things will wrap up on December 18 with a doubleheader. The Lakers will take on Chris Paul, Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns. Former MVP Kevin Durant will also make his return on ESPN as the Brooklyn Nets take on the Boston Celtics.
The 2020-2021 NBA season will kick off on December 22. The league has not yet announced the regular-season schedule.
