Chloe x Halle may not have picked up a GRAMMY over the weekend, but they certainly picked up another bag. The sister duo nabbed the lead in ESPN’s latest ad campaign for the Masters’ Tournament. Together, the GRAMMY-nominated duo takes their shot at singing the “Georgia On My Mind” by Ray Charles. As always, the two nail it and offer their own flavor to the classic record.
“Chloe x Halle’s rendition of ‘Georgia On My Mind’ captures the sensibility and beauty of Augusta National,” Laura Gentile of ESPN said in a press release.
“These talented sisters bring a modern, fresh approach to the classic track, and the final product is an ode to the Masters.”
Despite being apart for the last few weeks, Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey remain in the spotlight. Halle Bailey is hard at work filming the latest edition of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Meanwhile, Chloe Bailey continues to break the internet, repair it and then break it again. Most recently, she delivered her own cover of “You’re Mine Still” by Yung Bleu. Does this mean new music is on the way? Only one can hope.
