While he did not have a final list of schools he was offered by the Kansas Jayhawks, Florida Gators, Kentucky Wildcats, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and several other programs. His only campus visit was to the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Head Coach Mark Adams is building a sturdy program despite the departure of Chris Beard last year. Landing five-star talent like Elijah Fisher is a great step for the program to continue to build a basketball powerhouse in the Big 12. Fisher will likely one day be playing in the NBA, but before that he will have an impact on the Texas Tech program and the Big 12 at large. It all starts this upcoming college basketball season.
