With the COVID-19 still taking lives and affective everyday lives, it’s hard to believe we’ll ever return to what life once was. In spite of these challenges, many people are still trying to find light, sunshine and fun in a safe manner as a way to combat the darkness of the COVID-19 pandemic. In many ways, that’s exactly what DUCKWRTH and Phabo have accomplished with their “4K” video. The visual experience takes fans to a remote island filled with beautiful beaches, waterfalls and overly demanding directors.
“Right when outside started opening up and everyone started flocking to Tulum and Hawaii. That’s what ‘4K’ is about. Trying to adjust and acclimate while still having fun,” DUCKWRTH said about his new single.
“It’s the paradox of the recurring line, ‘Was your pandemic popping?’ 4K is a movie, and that’s what the pandemic turned into when we were let loose.”
Having released the “4K” video, DUCKWRTH is now preparing to drop a new project called *SG8 on September 3. One day later, he will embark on his headlining North American Tour. Months later, he will support Billie Eilish on her Happier Than Ever tour. Simply put, this “4K” is the start of an amazing fall run for the LA-based artist. Check out the full video below and get ready for the album on Friday.
