So the NBA have given Draymond Green a flagrant 1 for his confrontation with LeBron James. With that flagrant means that Draymond has hit the maximum and will be suspended for the potential title clinching Game 5 at the Oracle Arena.
Now because Draymond Green is suspended, he cannot be in attendance at Game 5, he can’t even be in a suit, sitting at the (not so) cheap seats. So like any spiritual leader of a championship winning team, he pushes the league to let him attend.
Green is strongly pushing to attend Game 5 of the Finals and watch the game inside Oracle Arena despite the suspension barring him from entering the arena, sources told The Vertical. He would likely face a substantial fine from the league if he were to attend the game. Green wants to find a route into the arena, and his reps are discussing the logistics of attending with the league and the players’ union.
I really don’t get why major sports leagues fine players. I mean let’s be honest a fine for a professional sportsperson is a penny dropping in the ocean. A suspension is more like it.
And as I write this we just got an update from The Undefeated’s Marc J Spears, Draymond Green will be in the building. Sort of.
Suspended Warrior Draymond Green is expected to watch Game 5 of the Finals from a suite in the Coliseum at the next door A’s game, source.

I tell you if the Warriors clinch, haters will have to eat a lot of crow if the Warriors clinch without their spiritual leader. And the NBA will have to take a loss for thinking that suspending Draymond Green will get them a Game 7, or as we should call it. Mo money for the NBA.
