Drake is confident that his latest album, Her Loss, is one of his best bodies of work. During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Sound 42, the Toronto native declared the joint LP one of his five best albums, if not among the three best.
“[Her Loss] is one of the greatest albums I ever made in my life,” he said.
“I said the other day, I think this is a clear entry into my top five of my catalog — if not, top three.”
Drake not only spoke about his latest album, but he also spoke about the previous two, Certified Lover Boy and Honestly, Nevermind, as well. The Grammy Award winner said that his last three projects completed a trilogy.
“We got CLB, Certified Lover Boy, that was like the, you know, ‘I’m trying my best to make her love [me], I’m chasing you. And then Honestly, Nevermind is the realization that maybe that lifestyle is not for me,” he explained.
“Then Her Loss is like ‘No Pigeons.’ Remember when [Sporty Thievz] dropped ‘No Pigeons’ when [TLC] had ‘No Scrubs’ out?”
