The second time is not the charm for residents of Nashville, Tennessee. After rescheduling the show weeks earlier for a later date, Drake has postponed two concerts in Nashville for a second time. Bridgestone Arena in the Music City broke the unfortunate news to fans through X, formerly known as Twitter.
“The Drake concerts scheduled for October 1 and 2 in Nashville are postponed. Dates are being finalized and details will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. All tickets will be honored,” a statement from the arena reads.
Drake fans in Nashville aren’t out of luck completely. The Toronto native is expected to release his latest studio album, For All The Dogs, on Friday, October 6, 2023. The project’s lead single, “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA has ascended to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. At the moment, there is no word as to who else may be featured on the highly-anticipated project.
