According to a report from Hollywood Unlocked, Drake’s home and signature OVO store in Los Angeles were vandalized on Friday, September 27th. The vandals allegedly spray painted “Leave L.A.” on the store. However, it is still unclear what was spray painted at his home. A video of the alleged incident also shows a man yelling, “Leave L.A. man. We ain’t playin’ with yo b*tch ass, man. F*ck Drake.” Additional reports indicate that both the artist’s home and store are being monitored following the incident.
Drake has had his fair share of adversity since relocating to the greater Los Angeles area. Most notably, Drake has gone back and forth with his Calabasas neighbor, Kanye West. The Game also referenced a potential threat to Drake on their 2015 collaboration, “100”.
He raps, “N*ggas called me to set you up/Want me to come and wet you up/’Cause you a out of town n*gga like Biggie/Heard about the sh*t with Diddy/So I came through to vest you up/And I got a vest for 40, a vest for Hush/A vest for every n*gga with an owl on his chest and what.”
Drake has not commented on the incident yet. More details will be reported as they become available.
