Andre “Dr. Dre” Young has been discharged from the hospital after being treated for a brain aneurysm earlier this month. Dr. Dre did not issue a statement, but Ice T said that his longtime friend had “just made it home.”
“[He’s] safe and looking good,” Ice T said.
Young had been admitted to Cedars Sinai Medical Center on January 4 after suffering a brain aneurysm. After undergoing treatment for one day, he issued a statement through social media.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team,” he wrote.
“I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!”
While the 55-year-old received medical care, four people attempted to break into his home in California. The four people were arrested, but their identities have not been made public.
