Moments after Kendrick Lamar walked off of the field at Caesars Superdome, another global star made their way into the news cycle. While interacting with fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, Doja Cat shared the name of her new album.
“Vie coming soon,” Doja Cat wrote.
In addition to being a hitmaker, chart topper and touring artist, Doja Cat is also known to joke around with her friends and fans on social media. With that in mind, one fan made sure to follow up and make sure Doja Cat wasn’t playing around when she hit send on her first tweet.
“VIE IS THE ALBUM NAME?” one X user wrote.
“Correct. Vie is the name of the album,” she replied.
However, when one fan tried to pry more details about the album, including the release date, the GRAMMY Award-winning artist wasn’t having it.
“And what’s the date of the album mama?” another X user asked.
“No,” she replied.
Vie would be Doja Cat’s fifth studio album, follow 2023’s Scarlet. After releasing the LP, she hit the road for her first arena tour with the help of Doechii, Ice Spice, and Hemlocke Springs. She also picked up four GRAMMY Award nominations along the way.
