At 21 years old, Digga D has emerged as one of the U.K.’s fastest rising stars. Despite roadblocks imposed by local authorities and others who deem his music to be too “violent” for the general public, he’s carved out a spot on top of the charts and he’s showing no signs of slowing down with his latest project, Noughty By Nature. The 16-track effort includes previously released singles like “Pump 101” and “Main Road” along with contributions from Moneybagg Yo, B-Lovee, Maverick Sabre and many others. With heavy samples from classic 50 Cent records, Digga D is able to restore some of the early 2000s energy that the legendary New York artist created early in his career.
Digga D is not planning to slow down after releasing his most high-profile project yet. He recently became the first U.K. drill artist to partner with Rap Snacks and he’s hinted at the release of a joint album with B-Lovee. While it’s not entirely surprising that two drill artists would join forces, it would be one of the bigger collaborations between a U.K. drill artist and a U.S. drill artist in recent memory.
