
New Golden State Warriors big man DeMarcus Cousins reportedly has signed a shoe deal with Puma, according to ESPN’s Nick DePaula on Twitter. Nike has ten days to match the clause rights of the Puma contract.

And if we need confirmation, Cousins is already donning the shoes of his new endorsement. Though, it could still change if Nike decides to match the offer.

It has been a summer of change for Cousins, who signed with Golden State this past offseason. He is currently recovering from an Achilles injury suffered last season.
Puma has been on the offensive this offseason. The apparel company has signed numerous NBA rookies this offseason to shoe deals such as DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, and Michael Porter Jr. The acquisition of Cousins, an All Star playing on the league’s best team, would be the biggest basketball fish for Puma.
